The check engine light on my 2004 BMW 330ci comes on every other day and the code is p2240 what does that mean?
The check engine light on my 2004 BMW 330ci comes on every other day and the code is p2240 what does that mean. I used the Obd Code Reader to see why the check engine light was coming on my car every two days and the code was P2240 – 02 bank b-2 sensor 1 positive current, circuit open. My car is a 2004 BMW 330ci and it only has 32,000 miles. Does anyone know what that code means? Thanks in advance!
Its in the oxygen sensor, possibly after the catalytic converter. Could be maybe the O2 sensor or the cat is failing. I suggest you go to a reputable auto repair centre and get them to check it for you. BMW are expensive and you don’t want to end up replacing unnecessary parts!
