While there is no denial that there are some serious contenders like the Toyota Pruis – Hybrid, BMW Mini (going all electric) and many others, I can’t simply wait to see what BMW is up to in the hybrid technology – which it will be launching officially on the biggest luxury sedan, the 7-Series.
In my opinion they are taking the greatest leap forward amongst other vehicle suppliers as they are introducing it on their Highest Luxury Automobile.
They are actually managing to shift any accusations against big engined vehicles by doing so, and are leading by example in their industry. The risk is still high for them as the vehicle has to be nothing but perfect. Any tiny flaws with the new cleaner engine will surely put them in a bad position as we all know what BMW customers, specially on the 7-Series are accustomed to – in other words ‘the ultimate luxury sedan’.
