Is there a cheap OBD II ABS code reader for GM cars?
Is there a cheap OBD II ABS code reader for GM cars? Looking for one for my 97 grand prix.

Yes, there are some incredibly cheap ones,  but be aware, most are nearly good for nothing (my personal opinion: they are total junk and waste of money).
Some only tell you if there is a fault code flagged by the PCM (ECU), but not what the code number is!
Decent diagnostic OBDII Readers which are mostly intended for quick fault code retrieval, good for the DIY personal use range from $130-$200 range.

Another option is using modern Automotive Repair Shops which are equipped with high end versaatile diagnostic OBD II scanners. They usually charge the half hour rate, somewhere in the region of around $50 for a diagnostic scan. You might be lucky to find some auto repair shops will do you the diagnostic scan for free, just so they might hook you up to their repair service if anything is found. I believe Aamco is one of those who offer this free scan with an appointment.
