SAAB 9 5 v6 turbo will not start?

I have a 1999 SAAB 9 5 turbo. On occasion it will crank but not start. It sounds like the starter is spinning the engine but it does not turn over. After waiting or several tries it does start. I had to replace the drive belt after the idle pulley failed. I thought maybe this was causing the engine not to start. I connected a monitor to the OBD port and have no errors. Any thoughts?

It seems your car is in need of a thorough service by a professional mechanic (auto technician). Do not skimp on service repairs as they will be back to you in the least appropriate time expected, usually when an emergency occurs and the car is really needed. Belts, oil and air filter changes, fluids changes should all be done on schedule to avoid unnecessary wear on any parts, which will cost much more when they need replacement than the services combined.
