What sort of power should I expect from my CRX project?
I have just finished my “CRX” project and burned, all of my paychecks and savings with many overtime hours in the mix for this one. It is basically just a CRX Si with a B16A engine swap, high performance (quick shift) transmission shift cables and linkages with the O.E factory limited slip, tripple plate ceramic clutch/pressure plate,9 lb flywheel,balanced bottom end, obd-1 conversion harness, pr3 obd-1 ecu, spoon vc-3e vtec controller, 70mm throttle body, custom manifold, stage 3 Horx tuner series cams/blox cam gears,blox dual valve springs/Ti retainers,Rage tri-y header,Tanabe concept-g cat back,car is sleeved by darton( $800 bucks :.( , benen fuel rail, Eagle connecting rods 5.290 length, Supertech 86mm pistons, knife edged crank with unorthodox pulley, ima use 92 octane, on Thursday i have an appointment with Courtney green for the dyno, but I’m sort off on the down side because I’m afraid I wont hit at least the 200 mark.
Well you should at least go and see how much your work has produced, if it doesn’t… a project car is never finished, you always buy better parts and continue till you get there. It’s an addiction hobby.
