Automotive Diagnostic OBD2 Scanner

Where is knock sensor located on 2005 Honda 3.5l engine?

The car is a Honda Odyssey, year of manufacture 2005. I need to know where the knock sensor is because it is giving me a knock sensor error from my diagnostic test performed on my obd2 scanner. If I know where it is I think I will manage to repalce it myself. Anything I should know before going this route, like do some more pre-testing, etc.

The Honda 3.5L knock sensor can b found under the intake manifold. You have quite a tight fit there so you might have to remove some other parts which might be in your way. I estimate that you should take somewhere between 1hour to 1½hours to get it done, if you are fluent in engine repairs. While you are at it, and before you go buying and replacing the sensor, check that the wiring is all OK because after all, that might be you fault symptom.
