Is this OBD connector compatible with my BMW?
I have a 1994 BMW 325i which I need to have a diagnostic scan. I can see a 22 pin (25 slots) plug and I’m unsure if this is the same plug for it’s OBD1 system. In the meanwhile I get a concrete answer I’m trying to figure out if this connector is compatible in any way possible with my ODB reader. Maybe there is a plug converter or similar?
You might need a specific connector cable. I found a similar description on eBay but am not 100 positive if that is what’s needed, so take this info at your own risk.

Brand new and unused BMW 20 pin connector to OBD2 female.
Now do you know where that black round diagnosis connector is under the hood. Unscrew the cap if you find a PAC MAN shape in the center you found the connector plug in the adapter. Plug in your scanner and turn on the ignition. You should start having your scan functioning and retrieving any trouble fault codes (TFC). When you have determined the faults and done what repairs were necessary you can clear the fault logged codes. AST tool will also reset service indicator when you do oil changes and maintenance.
