Jay Leno’s view of BMW’s Hydrogen Initiative

Author: Jay Leno together with other famous celebrities are supporting BMW’s approach to clean up our polluted environment by using a different approach in their mentality. They have been on the fore-front leading other vehicle manufacturers to follow their own footsteps.
BMW has been one of the first worldwide manufacturers in finding alternative fuel energy solutions through extensive R&D, eventually introducing us with different approach solutions. Electrical cars, hydrogen powered vehicles and hydrogen hybrids are all part of their extensive testing and are under their own development portfolio.
Even better, BMW’s most luxurious and most coveted model, the 7-Series model has again made it in the headlines by utilizing a cleaner energy through hydrogen on their conventional gasoline V12 engine. It’s only a matter of time. In other words “When NOT If” the other manufacturers will follow so closely in BMW’s cleaner energy that it will become a viable source and more and more production vehicles will start entering our motorways. Prototypes are a courageous approach but what really counts is if other manufacturers take it to the next level of production like BMW, preferably at a competitive price for the middle-income bracket families.
